About this product
The Evict-A-Tick Slide Remover is a small, keychain-sized tick removal tool from PureGard. It is made of high-strength anodized aluminum with a slim slot at one end. You slide the slot under the tick, close to the skin, and it lifts the tick out with a gentle, steady pull, without squeezing the body and without your fingers touching it.
It works on people, dogs, cats and livestock, and because it is metal it can be washed and sanitized and reused for years. Clip it to a keychain, a dog leash or the zipper of a hiking pack so it is there when you need it, which in Nova Scotia's tick season is more often than anyone would like.
