Petadolex is Pascoe's butterbur root extract in softgel form. Each capsule carries 75 mg of a concentrated (36:1) extract of butterbur rhizome, standardized to provide 11.25 mg of petasin and isopetasin, the compounds the plant is known for. It is made by a patented process and tested to be free of pyrrolizidine alkaloids, the naturally occurring compounds in raw butterbur that most people want to avoid.
