Organic Traditions Maca X-6 is a blend of black and red-purple maca roots, two of the less common colour varieties of the root. It is raw, organic and gelatinized, which in maca's case has nothing to do with gelatin: it means the starch has been removed so the powder mixes more smoothly.

Maca tastes malty, a little like butterscotch. Blend a teaspoon into a smoothie, stir it into oatmeal or a latte, or bake it into energy bites and cookies. It is a single-ingredient, plant-based powder, and a little goes a long way.
