Organic Meadow 10 percent half and half is organic cream, the lighter kind that goes in coffee. The ingredient list is one item long: organic cream. No thickeners, no stabilizers.

Pour it into coffee or tea, splash it into scrambled eggs or a pan sauce, or use it to loosen a soup at the end of cooking. It is not thick enough to whip; for that you want a 35 percent cream. Keep it cold and use it by the date on the package.
