About this product
The Onyx two-layer sandwich box is a stainless steel lunch box big enough for a full adult-sized sandwich, with a second layer for the things that should not touch the bread: salad, pickles, fruit, crackers. It measures 17.5 x 13 x 6.2 cm and is made from 18/0 (#430) food-grade stainless steel.
It is a straightforward swap for plastic containers and disposable bags, and it will outlast both. Label it with a non-permanent marker for school or the office fridge, then wipe it clean at the end of the week. Steel does not stain or hold onto smells the way plastic does.
