NOW sunflower lecithin is liquid lecithin made from sunflower seeds instead of soy, which matters if you avoid soy or prefer to skip genetically modified crops. It is non-GMO and soy-free, and each teaspoon is simply 5 mL of sunflower lecithin.

Lecithin is naturally rich in phosphatidylcholine, a phospholipid found in cell membranes, along with phosphatidylinositol and essential fatty acids. It helps to support liver function and, in the kitchen, it helps fats and water mix. Take it straight, stir it into juice or a shake, or drizzle it over food. The liquid is thick, so measure with a spoon rather than pouring.
