NOW Psyllium Husk Powder is finely milled psyllium seed husk, a source of dietary fibre. Psyllium is a bulk-forming fibre: it swells when it meets liquid, which is how it helps support healthy gastrointestinal transit and regular bowel function.

Mix it into a full glass of water or juice, stir briskly and drink right away, since it thickens quickly, and drink plenty of fluids through the day. The 340 g jar has nothing added but the husk. Keep it sealed in a dry cupboard. NOW has been making supplements since 1968, and this is one of the staples in our digestion section.

How to use
Adolescents & Adults (13 years and older): Mix 1/2 tablespoon (4.5 g) twice daily with 270 ml of liquid. Stir briskly and drink immediately. Maintain adequate fluid intake. Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications. Effects observed 12-24 hours after first dose, and may take 2-3 days.
