NOW L-Tyrosine 500 mg, 120 Veg Capsules

L-tyrosine is an amino acid your body uses to make the neurotransmitters dopamine, adrenaline and noradrenaline, as well as the skin pigment melanin. It is called conditionally indispensable because the body can make it, but not always in the amounts it needs. Adrenaline and noradrenaline are the main players in the body's response to acute stress, and together with dopamine they help support a positive mood and mental alertness. L-tyrosine is also needed for normal thyroid function.

NOW's capsules provide 500 mg of L-tyrosine each. It is taken between meals, typically ahead of or during periods of physical stress, and is meant for occasional use. 120 capsules per bottle.
