NOW D-Mannose Powder, 85 g

D-Mannose is a simple sugar found naturally in some plants, including cranberries. The body metabolises only a small amount of it and passes most of it quickly in the urine. In the bladder, D-Mannose may bind to unwanted substances so they are less likely to stick to the bladder lining.

NOW sells it as a pure powder with nothing else added, so there are no capsules to swallow. Each teaspoon holds 2 g of D-Mannose. Stir it well into a glass or two of water or juice just before drinking. It dissolves easily and has little taste. Store in a cool, dry place.

• 85 g powder
• Pure D-Mannose, single ingredient
• 2 g per teaspoon
• Mixes into water or juice

D-Mannose is a simple sugar that occurs naturally in some plants, including cranberries. Although small amounts of D-Mannose are metabolized by the human body, much of it is rapidly excreted in the urine. In the bladder, D-Mannose may adhere to undesirable foreign substances, preventing them from sticking to the lining of the bladder.

Adults: Take 1 teaspoon (2g) once daily. Mix product well in 1-2 cups of liquid immediatley before consumption.
