NOW Alpha Lipoic Acid 600 mg, 60 Veg Capsules

NOW Alpha Lipoic Acid 600 mg is NOW's highest-potency alpha lipoic acid capsule. Alpha lipoic acid is an antioxidant, and this formula pairs 600 mg of it with 30 mg of grape seed extract, another antioxidant source, and 5 mg of Bioperine, a black pepper extract.

It is a straightforward, single-purpose formula for people who already know they want alpha lipoic acid and prefer a higher dose in fewer capsules. Take it with a meal, as the label directs. You will find it with our antioxidant supplements.

Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is naturally produced in the human body in very small amounts, but is also available in some foods. This 600mg dosage is our highest potency offering. Elevated blood glucose has been implicated as a leading indicator of metabolic syndrome, increasing the risk for a number of degenerative diseases. According to a survey of 685 herbalists, alpha lipoic acid was one of the 10 most frequently recommended dietary supplements due to its efficacy in reducing high blood sugar levels. Bioperine® is a registered trademark of Sabinsa Corporation.
