The Meta Bar is No Sugar Company's six-layer protein bar: a peanut butter layer, dry-roasted peanuts, whey protein crisps, a soft protein nougat, and a dark chocolate flavoured base and coating. It eats like a candy bar but is high in protein, keeps net carbs low and, as always with this brand, has 0 g of sugar.

Sweetness comes from erythritol and stevia rather than sugar, and the fibre from resistant tapioca dextrin and inulin. Keep one in a gym bag or desk drawer for a mid-afternoon gap. It contains milk, peanuts and soy and may contain eggs, sesame and tree nuts.
