About this product
New Roots Herbal Heme Iron delivers iron in its heme form, isolated from animal sources (pork hemoglobin) because this is the type the body recognizes and absorbs readily. Iron helps to form red blood cells and helps in their proper function, and is a factor in the maintenance of good health.
Each capsule pairs 11 mg of heme iron polypeptide with vitamin C, active folate (L-methyltetrahydrofolate) and vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin. It can be taken with or without food. Not suitable if you avoid pork.
