About this product
Nature's Way Sambucus Kids is a black elderberry syrup made for children aged two and up. It is traditionally used in herbal medicine to help relieve the symptoms of colds, such as sore throat and cough. Each 5 mL serving contains 25 mg of black elderberry extract standardized for anthocyanins, along with an echinacea complex extract and a little propolis.
The elderberries are hand-picked in Europe, and the syrup tastes of natural raspberry, so getting it into a reluctant child is not the battle it might be. It is vegetarian, gluten-free and kosher, with no artificial preservatives, colours or flavours, and the label gives separate amounts for each age group.
