Defense is Living Alchemy's daily immune support formula, made from kitchen herbs you already know: organic garlic, oregano, thyme, ginger and cloves, fermented together in the company's Symbio kefir-kombucha culture. Organic shiitake mushroom is added as a supporting ingredient, and the capsule is filled out with an organic herbal base of alfalfa, fennel seed, nettle and parsley.

Living Alchemy ferments its herbs because fermentation transforms them into a form the body recognizes as food, which the company says makes them easier to digest and absorb. The whole formula is plant-based and shelf stable, in an organic pullulan capsule. Take one to three capsules daily, with or without food.
