Herbaland's Energy Gel is a 40 g pouch of quick carbohydrate for runners, cyclists and anyone putting in a long effort. The fuel is a mix of glucose, fructose and maltodextrin in a smooth gel base, with sodium citrate for electrolytes and konjac, gellan and locust bean gum to give it a soft, easy-to-swallow texture. No flavouring is listed, so it is mild and unfussy.

It is made to go down without water, though you will still want to drink as usual so your body can absorb it well. Tear the top, squeeze and carry on. Keep pouches in a cool, dry place away from direct light.
