Flock & Tallow Co. makes this lip balm with a list you can read in one breath: locally sourced beef tallow, local beeswax, virgin coconut oil and peppermint oil. Tallow is rich and close to the skin's own oils, so the balm sits on your lips and stays put rather than vanishing in five minutes.
It soothes dry, chapped lips and leaves them soft, with a fresh peppermint scent. Swipe it on in the morning, before bed and whenever the wind picks up. Because it is a natural fat and wax blend, it can firm up in the cold; hold it against your lip for a second and it glides.
