Essence of Life Organics Plant-Based Heavy Duty Scrubbing Sponge

This heavy-duty scrubbing sponge from Essence of Life Organics is a plant-based swap for the plastic kitchen sponge. It is made from wood pulp, a coconut-fibre scourer and cellulose, and the scrubbing side is tough enough for stuck-on pots without scratching your surfaces. When it is worn out, cut it up and put it in the compost.

Wet it thoroughly before the first use, then use it with dish soap on dishes, counters and stovetops. Rinse and squeeze it out after each use and let it dry somewhere with airflow so it lasts.
