Enzymedica Lacto is a max-strength enzyme formula for meals that contain dairy. Its main ingredient is lactase, the enzyme that breaks down lactose (milk sugar), backed by protease to help break down casein (milk protein), plus amylase, lipase, cellulase and other enzymes for the rest of the meal.

The enzymes use Enzymedica's Thera-blend process, so they stay active through the range of pH along the digestive tract. Take it at the start of a meal with cheese, ice cream, cream sauces or milk. Enzymedica also makes DairyAssist, a gentler formula, if you want something lighter.
