Eat Wholesome Organic Black Beans are cooked black beans in a 398 mL can, ready to rinse and use. They are made with organic black beans grown in Italy, where Eat Wholesome sources its vegetables, beans and whole grains.
They are low in fat and a source of iron, and they work well beyond the burrito: fold them into chili, soups and salads, mash them for tacos, or use them in place of ground meat in a pasta sauce or shepherd's pie. Rinse and drain before using. Once opened, move leftovers to a covered container in the fridge.
