Divine Essence Organic Black Spruce Essential Oil, 15 mL

Black spruce (Picea mariana) is the tree of the boreal forest, growing across Canada, the northern United States and Alaska, and its essential oil smells like standing in one: a fresh evergreen scent. Divine Essence's is organic. It is stimulating and invigorating, but milder and gentler than many other evergreen oils.

It is used in aromatherapy to help relieve joint and muscle pain associated with sprains and strains, often diluted in a carrier oil and rubbed in, and in a diffuser to clear the air and ease tension. It is the one to reach for when you want the woods indoors.

Black spruce (Picea mariana) is a spruce tree species in the pine family. A symbol of North America’s Boreal Forest, black spruce is common to Canada, the Northern U.S. and Alaska. It is particularly adapted to significant climate variations characterized by low average annual temperatures and major temperature fluctuations. In Canada, it is primarily used by the pulp and paper industry for its solid, straight and lightweight wood, long used as carpentry wood. Spruce resin is harvested to make ginger beer, a beverage dating back to the colonization of New-France. Spruce -Black essential oil is used in aromatherapy as a nerve tonic and to help relieve joint and muscle pain associated with sprains, strains and rheumatoid arthritis.
