About this supplement

Multi Strain 50 is a high-count probiotic from Cyto-Matrix: a guaranteed 50 billion colony-forming units per capsule from nine lactobacilli and bifidobacteria strains, each one listed with its own count. The vegetable capsule is enteric-coated so the bacteria pass through stomach acid and reach the intestine intact.

It is formulated for times when the gut flora needs rebuilding quickly, such as during or after a course of antibiotics. There are no fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) in it, which matters if prebiotics leave you gassy or bloated, and it is FODMAP friendly. Directions and storage are on the label.
