Circle and Wick's Cardamom Pear candle in the 9 oz size brings together black cardamom, chestnut and pear: spice and nut underneath, fruit on top. It is warm without being heavy, and it works in a kitchen as well as a bedroom.

A 9 oz candle is the right size for a smaller room or a bedside table, and it makes a good gift when you are not sure of someone's taste. Keep the wick trimmed to about 5 mm and let the first burn reach the edges of the vessel so it burns evenly to the bottom.
