Bulk Organic Chickpea Flour

Organic chickpea flour from our bulk section, sold by weight. Sometimes called gram or besan flour, it is finely milled dried chickpeas, with a nutty, slightly earthy flavour. It is naturally gluten-free and a staple in Indian and Mediterranean kitchens.

Bring a clean jar or use one of our bags, weigh it empty at the till, scoop what you need and pay by weight. Make socca or farinata, batter for pakoras and onion bhajis, or an egg-free omelette by whisking it with water and a pinch of turmeric. It also binds veggie burgers well. Store sealed in a cool, dry cupboard, or in the fridge if you will not get through it quickly.
