Bulk Organic Whole Cloves

Organic whole cloves (Syzygium aromaticum) are the dried, unopened flower buds of the clove tree, sold loose. Whole, they keep their aroma far longer than ground cloves, and they are strong, sweet and warming. Kosher certified.

Stud a ham or an onion for stock, drop a few into mulled wine, chai, rice pilaf and braises, or grind them fresh for baking. Sold from the bulk section by weight, so you can buy a small handful. Keep them in a sealed jar away from heat and light and they will stay fragrant for a year or more.
