Organic Veggie Pepper Blend is an all-purpose seasoning built around black pepper, with garlic, onion, red peppers, anise, tarragon, thyme, kelp and celery seed. It is savoury and a little herbal, with a faint sweetness from the anise, and it does the work of several jars at once.

Shake it over roasted vegetables, eggs, soups, rice and grain bowls, or use it as a rub for chicken and fish. It is sold from the bulk section by weight, so you can take a spoonful to try or fill a whole jar. Keep it in a sealed container away from heat and light.
