Bulk Organic Candelilla Wax (Vegan), 200 g

A 200 g pack of organic candelilla wax, the plant-based wax that makers reach for when they want to skip beeswax. It comes from the leaves of a desert shrub and gives balms and candles a firm, glossy set.

Use it in lip balms, salves, lotion bars and vegan candles. It is harder than beeswax and has a higher melting point, so most recipes call for roughly half as much when swapping it in. Melt it gently in a double boiler with your oils and butters, then pour. Store the pack sealed in a cool, dry place and it keeps indefinitely.
