Bulk Organic Blanched Almond Flour

Organic blanched almond flour is finely ground from almonds with the skins removed, which gives it a pale colour and a soft, even texture. It is sold by weight from our bulk section, so you can pick up a cup for a single batch of cookies or a bigger scoop for regular baking. It is organic and gluten-free, made from almonds and nothing else.

It is a staple in grain-free and gluten-free baking: macarons, quick breads, muffins, pancakes and pie crusts. It also makes a good crumb coating and a nutty thickener for sauces. Almond flour is rich in natural oils, so store it in a sealed container in the fridge or freezer to keep it fresh.

Tootsi’s organic blanched almond flour is a fine mixture of ground almonds without their skins. This product is finer in texture than almond meal, and is lighter in texture when added to baked goods. It is nutty in taste and can replace 25% of regular flour in a recipe, and up to half the flour in certain recipes that require a crumbly texture. Ideal for baking.
