About this product
Dried comfrey leaf, sold by weight from our bulk herb section. Comfrey (Symphytum) was once known as knitbone, and the leaf has a long history of use in home herbalism, most often on the outside of the body. Its leaves are naturally rich in allantoin.
The usual way to use it is to infuse the dried leaf into an oil of your choice, such as olive or sunflower, and either use that infused oil as it is or thicken it with beeswax into a salve. Store the dried leaf sealed away from light and moisture.
