Niacin, vitamin B3, is a water-soluble nutrient the body does not store, so it has to come in regularly. Plain niacin at higher amounts tends to cause a flush: harmless, but a hot, itchy, prickly feeling that puts many people off.

AOR's No-Flush uses inositol hexanicotinate, niacin bound to inositol, which releases into the body slowly enough to avoid the flush. Each capsule provides 550 mg, giving 500 mg of niacin and 121 mg of inositol, in a plain hypromellose capsule.

Niacin is water-soluble and is not stored in the body, meaning that it is important to ensure that adequate amounts are consumed through the diet and supplements.
