Down East Epsom salt is sold loose from our bulk section, so you scoop what you need and pay by weight. Bring a clean jar or bag from home or use one of ours. Epsom salt is magnesium sulphate, a plain mineral salt with no scent or additives.

Most people use it for a warm bath or a foot soak after a long day, dissolving a generous scoop in the tub. It also works as a gentle body scrub when mixed with a little carrier oil, and gardeners sprinkle it around tomatoes and peppers. Keep it in a sealed, dry container so it does not clump.
