Maison Orphée flax seed oil is a single-purpose pantry oil pressed from flax seeds. Flax oil has a mild, nutty, slightly grassy flavour, and it is meant to be used cold rather than for cooking, since heat spoils both the taste and the oil itself.

Drizzle it over steamed vegetables, whisk it into a salad dressing, or stir a spoonful into oatmeal, yogurt or a morning smoothie. Keep the bottle in the fridge, especially once it is open, and use it within a few weeks for the freshest flavour.
