To prepare vegan, add nut butter of choice, non-dairy milk of choice, & vegan chocolate chips!
Equipment Needed: 8″x8″ pan
Ingredients
Brown sugar, Gluten free flour blend ( rice flour, brown rice flour, sorghum flour, potato starch, tapioca flour, xanthan gum), Baking powder, Salt, Vanilla bean.
Suggested Use
You will need:
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 large egg
1/2 cup chocolate chips of choice*
* Optional, or substitute nuts, raisins, etc!
For vegan preparation:
1/2 cup creamy nut butter of choice
1/4 cup vegan milk of choice
1/2 cup chocolate chips of choice*
*optional, or substitute nuts, raisins, etc!
Directions: Preheat oven to 350F. Line 8"x 8" pan with parchment paper. Melt 6 table spoons of unsalted butter, then pour cooled melted butter in a medium bowl. Whisk in 1 large egg to fully combine. Add Blondie mix & chocolate chips, then stir all together until your dough forms. Scoop dough into your lined pan & spread evenly to the edges of your pan. Bake 20 minutes; remove from oven & allow to cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting.
Vegan Directions: Preheat oven to 350F. Line 8"x 8" pan with parchment paper. Combine nut butter, vegan milk, Blondie mix, & chocolate chips in medium bowl; stir until a thick dough forms. Press into lined pan with damp hands, evenly to edge of pan. Bake 20 minutes & cool for 30-45 minutes.
