Oregano is a well known plant, spice and medicine that’s dark green in colour and grows in bushels of leaves that are very fragrant. Traditionally, oregano has been used to help fight infections as well as support digestion thanks to it’s active ingredient, carvacrol. Using sustainable practices, Organic Connections harvests their certified organic oregano leaf while ensuring farmlands and soils aren’t depleted. This cut and sifted bulk herb is great to use in cooking and pairs well with cheeses, pizza, meats and root vegetables or potatoes and pairs well with garlic, Italian herbs and onion. It can also be made into a tea to help support overall immune functioning.
