Lindsay Spidell

Lindsay Spidell, RN, is a compassionate and dedicated Lactation Specialist with a deep commitment to supporting parents during their breastfeeding journey. After welcoming her own child in 2022, Lindsay's experience as a mother led her to realize the importance of community and the invaluable support that other parents can offer during the challenging and rewarding moments of early parenthood.

With over eight years of nursing experience at the IWK Health Centre on the Family Newborn Care Unit, Lindsay has worked alongside many families, helping them navigate their feeding journeys and addressing the challenges that arise. It was here that she honed her expertise and developed a profound understanding of how crucial it is to empower parents, particularly mothers, to trust their instincts and feel confident in their caregiving choices.

As a Lactation Consultant, Lindsay now extends her support beyond the hospital setting to continue guiding families through their breastfeeding experiences and beyond. Her vision for Little Latch Co is to create a space where all parents can build their village, find the support they need, and develop confidence in themselves and their ability to care for their little ones.

Lindsay's approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and personalized care. She is passionate about walking alongside families through the ups and downs of breastfeeding, offering guidance, resources, and a non-judgmental environment where each family's unique needs are honored.
