The almond itself, culled from the Almond Tree, is the source of the essential oil. One of the few trees which shows its white and rose blossoms as winter ends, the Sweet Almond is one of many varieties. Sweet Almond (as opposed to Bitter Almond) from which we cull our essential oil is well-known for its skin benefits, giving suppleness and softness where needed. Indeed, this gentle oil lends its velvety softness to all skin types.
